Hello everyone (my few followers and tumblr bloggers),
Sorry it’s been AGES, life has been super manic recently. This is my apology, and a promise that i shall be back from now on!
The hair is currently the GREATEST colour it has ever been. A real turquoise colour, that is super bright. I love it :) special thanks to Hayley, my hairdresser, and crazy colours for bringing out a new range! It also doesn’t stain your hands any more, i don’t know what they’ve done, but it’s great! So i’d definately reccomend it!
Work is awesome, we’ve hopefully found something that’s reasonably novel, so all the efforts are going into that at the moment. As a result, i have LOTS to do there, and am rather tired, but i know it will be worth it eventually.
First year reports are also being written at the moment. I’m doing alright with mine, hoping to get a first VERY rough draft by May. The only issue is its only allowed to be 8000 words!! mines already 20000! so i’m going to have alot to get rid of. But it’s not due until June so im hoping ill have plenty of time to sort it all out!
Abstracts are due soon for the Barcelona conference, so i will need to get that sorted too, so hopefully ill be able to present a poster.
I’m missing my girls from the lab :( @jodieLMB and @amyfranceslloyd have finished their projects (well done gals :) ) and have come and gone once more…but this time, i know it’s DEFINATELY not permanent. There’s no way im letting my little dirty-minded, baking, gig buddies get away! Can’t wait for you girls to come back to Notts!
And the rest of my life, where i actually have a life (?!) well, let’s just say that is awesome right now :) :) And i have huge apologies to make to all my friends that i criticised for using ‘Plenty of Fish.’
Apparently…it works…well. :D
So i hope everyone else is doing fantastically, and i shall update more often from now on!
